Windhoek, Namibia – The Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) has officially launched its new Client Portal, a digital platform designed to enhance client experience by improving access to services, streamlining communication, and enabling clients to engage with the Bank anytime, anywhere.
The launch of the Client Portal forms part of DBN’s five-year strategic plan, which prioritises digital transformation as a key enabler for improved service delivery, operational efficiency, and enhanced client engagement. This milestone reflects the Bank’s commitment to leveraging technology to better serve its clients and respond to evolving customer needs.
The Client Portal is a secure, mobile-friendly platform developed specifically for existing DBN clients, individuals and businesses with active loans. It allows users to conveniently manage their profiles, access important account information, and connect directly with their DBN portfolio analysts.
Chief of Marketing and Corporate Affairs, Mr Jerome Mutumba, emphasised the Bank’s commitment to innovation and service excellence, stating:
“The introduction of the Client Portal marks a significant step in our digital transformation journey and aligns with our strategic focus on delivering client-centric, technology-driven solutions. It provides our clients with secure, convenient, and seamless access to their account information and support services, ultimately improving how we serve them,” said Mutumba.
Through the portal, clients can manage their personal or business information, view loan details and related account information, communicate directly with their portfolio analysts for support and queries, and engage more efficiently with DBN services.
The platform is designed with ease of use and security in mind, ensuring that clients can confidently manage their interactions with the Bank on the go.
To support clients in using the platform effectively, DBN has developed a user manual, which is available on the Bank’s website.
Looking ahead, DBN plans to introduce additional functionalities, including a Track Loan Application module, which will further enhance transparency and improve service delivery.
DBN encourages all clients to register on the portal, keep their contact details up to date, and make full use of the available features. Clients are also advised to use the portal to reach out to their portfolio analysts for any assistance or queries.
